Description:
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING POSITION --One position available for Concrete Block Plant Machine Specialist in Rialto, California. We are seeking candidates with 24 months of verifiable experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting concrete block/paver production plants. Candidates must have 3 months of verifiable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting training on Omag concrete block/paver plants. Job duties include operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our concrete block/paver plant production lines at our Rialto, CA plant.
Requirements:
The Concrete Block Plant Machine Specialist operates, maintains, and troubleshoots two German manufactured high output paver and block production plants. The Concrete Block Plant Machine Specialist sets-up, inspects, updates, and operates specialized equipment used in production of paver and block products. Worker engages in installation of electrical and mechanical control systems including mounting, alignment,lubrication systems, high-voltage equipment, control cabling, electronic control systems, and programming a 2011 (rebuilt) Omag and 2012 Frima block paver plants located at the Rialto, California production facility 45+ workers. Work involves verification of cabling and signals as well as programming of PLC's (Siemens, Allen Bradley,Automation Direct, Mitsubishi and Telemecanique) and excitation control equipment and robotics to ensure suitability for application of primary and secondary platforms. The Concrete Block Plant Machine Specialist operates Motor Control Panels (MCP's) and excitation control equipment; machine building and setup; engages in mechanical repairs and design, hydraulic repairs and design, and electrical panel building and design. Additionally, the Concrete Block Plant Machine Specialist designs of certain recipes for maximum quality of concrete products, and requires setting of machine parameters for inforce to quality products with maximum output per cycle on both Omag and Frima production lines.
