1While building products do not "earn" points in and of themselves, they do have significant impact to cost/benefit results. Some materials and systems are very obvious solutions for achieving targeted strategies, e.g. permeable pavers, and others may be completely overlooked as contributors or efficient enablers in supporting green goals for a given project condition, e.g. post tensioned masonry fences.
The articles indexed above correlate product lines with green strategies. Certain products may have a direct association with the technical application of a goal, while other products may simply make life easier by means that are not quite so obvious. Yet real benefits are provided in support of green goals in the construction, life cycle, and economics of the project.
