Combining Thermal Mass and Insulation

The Seismic 12 is designed as an open-ended solution for the ultimate strength of total wall height rebar embedded in the footing while meeting energy efficiency requirements. It maintains the same extended thermal path design but allows for more grout to achieve greater structural strength.

Corners may be constructed with the System 8 Left and Right Corner units, or standard 8x8x16 CMU if required for additional reinforcement and grout. Likewise, jamb or end-wall conditions may utilize the Jamb unit or 12x8x16 standard CMU.

The Short Insert is installed in the outer cells for continuous in-wall insulation.

Configurations such as open ends, bond beams, and open end bond beams may be available.
